“Yeah, I applied to that job, but they want at least one year of experience. I have had a couple of jobs, but I haven’t been working for a year yet.”
I did not have a years’ experience of work at this time of my freshman year of college. My parents didn’t want me to work during high school so that I could focus on school, music, sports, etc. I did not, however, have “a couple jobs” in less than a year. That’s not so positive…..
